Synopsis

There are many problems that the Peruvian educational system is currently experiencing in relation to health, disease prevention, due not only to weak information about the hygiene habits that an individual should have, but also to the precarious condition of unhealthiness experienced by rural and urban communities, the latter due to the rapid rise in its population that has caused outbreaks of viruses and diseases that until a few years ago were considered eradicated.

Aware of this panorama, health personnel, through programs that seek to promote care and health in all spaces, have seen the irrefutable need to disseminate, through the use of theatrical or scenic techniques, the importance of care and maintaining health. hygiene not only in school spaces, but also in communities in order to confront the spread of diseases and inappropriate health conditions.

The manifest importance of theater compared to other forms of dissemination is much greater because theater not only opens other doors towards the understanding of a reality that deserves to be transformed, it also offers other readings from transdisciplinarity in those involved and those who receive the formation. Although health personnel have found other ways to transmit, teach and show, far from instrumental and vague communicative references, this is due to one of the most emerging needs to be able to change reality for another.
